Narzalina Z. Lim is President of Asia Pacific Projects, Inc. (APPI), a tourism and hospitality consulting company which specializes in tourism strategic planning, marketing, training, and feasibility study preparation. APPI has done tourism plans for the provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan, People’s Republic of China, which enabled Ms. Lim to gain experience in working with the Chinese government and its tourism industry. Ms. Lim served as Secretary of Tourism under Pres. Corazon C. Aquino and Pres. Fidel V. Ramos. She signed the very first Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation between the Philippine Department of Tourism and the People’s Republic of China on April 21, 1989 which paved the way for succeeding agreements on Tourism Cooperation between the two governments. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
