Prof. Bobby Tuazon is the former Chair of the Political Science Program of the University of the Philippines in Manila. He is a Director for Policy Studies and an In-House Policy Analyst at the Center for People Empowerment in Governance. He was awarded five times as Most Outstanding Faculty of UP Manila. He is a co-author and editor of 15 books with titles dealing on international relations, foreign policy, governance, election reform and political parties, among others. He wrote and published at least 300 political analysis, and scholarly and conference papers. He served as a resource person in the Philippines Congress; resource political analyst of Philippine and foreign media (newspapers and TV); conference speaker and lecturer in universities and NGOs in Asia, Europe, and United States. Prof. Tuazon has extensive experience in the Philippines and foreign media as publisher, editor, opinion columnist, and commentator. His fields of interest and policy research include foreign policy and international relations, political parties and electoral reform, and governance and corruption.
