- The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) vessel JS Amagiri (DD-154), an Asagiri-class (General Type) Destroyer with one SH-60J helicopter arrived at Pier 15 in Manila for a two-day goodwill visit until Sunday, February 4. Captain Lued L. Lincuna, director of the Naval Public Affairs Office, said Philippine Navy vessel BRP Rajah Humabon (PS-11) rendered customary meeting procedures at Corregidor Island and escorted the vessels to their designated anchorage area.
