Ro mulo Foundation , in cooperation with the Association of South east Asian Nations-In stitutes of Strategic and International Studies and Stratbase ADR In stitute hosted a confer ence titled ASEAN at 50: The Way Forward at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City. Held on the eve of the ASEAN Foreign Ministerial Meeting, the event was organized by ambassador Roberto “Bobby” Romulo, former Foreign Affairs secretary Albert del Rosario and Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS-Indonesia) senior fellow and co-founder Jusuf Wanandi. The conference invited 36 distinguished speakers and pundits from different ASEAN nations, with Finance secretary Carlos Dominguez and Foreign Affairs secretary Alan Peter Cayetano representing the Philippines. Here’s to fifty years of partnering for change and engaging the world!
