Mr. Arturo Boncato is currently Undersecretary for of the Tourism Regulation, Coordination, and Resource Generation (TRCRG) of the Department of Tourism. He was Assistant Secretary at the Department of Trade and Industry in 2016 where he handled Ease of Doing Business, E-commerce, and BIMP-EAGA; and briefly detailed to the Department of Finance in 2017 for an Asian Development Bank project. From 2013 to 2016, he also worked under TRCRG. His assignments include subnational coordinator for the BIMP-EAGA, TWG member for ASEAN, and Department representative to the Bangsamoro Transition Committee. His tourism and private sector background include being a professional congress organizer, tourism media writer, and an hotelier.
