^{Mr. Pitlo is a lecturer in the Chinese Studies Program at Ateneo de Manila University and an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in the International Studies Department at De La Salle University. He is also a program consultant at the Asia Pathways to Progress Foundation, Inc. and has previously worked at the National Coast Watch Secretariat. He obtained his BA in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines and his Master of Laws from Peking University.}
